Summer Food Program Leader - July-August

Strathcona Community Centre is seeking a community-minded individual with an interest in food and food security to support the Centre’s summer food programs including planning and preparing food for our summer day camp program, assisting with our good food box program and working on a summer food zine.

Rate of Pay $20.25/hour 30 hrs per week  
Monday-Friday: 8:30am-3:00pm

Strathcona Community Centre Association Board

Join a passionate team of community-minded volunteers helping guide Strathcona Community Centre. As a Board Member, you’ll be the community’s voice and a catalyst for meaningful programming and connection.

The Strathcona Community Centre Association (SCCA) and Vancouver Parks Board jointly operate the Strathcona Community Centre. The SCCA is governed by a locally-elected Board of Directors made up of residents, community agency representatives and members at large. The SCCA is a provincially registered not-for-profit society and a federally registered charity.

If you:

• Have deep roots in Strathcona (you live here, grew up here, or work here)
• Bring diverse experiences and fresh perspectives
• Want to help shape programs that reflect our neighborhood’s needs and interests
